Our woodworking machinery auction is a sight for saw eyes
If paying over the odds for woodworking equipment goes against the grain, check out the huge array of machinery we are offering for sale this month.
We have almost 60 quality used items available following the recent closure and subsequent asset disposal of a furniture manufacturing facility in the south of England.
Brands include leading names such as Ingersoll Rand, Wadkin and Rye and opening bids on some pieces start at just £10!
The sale includes a huge variety of machinery, from planers and power feed units to crosscut saws, spindle moulders, profile sanders and a semi-automatic head slot mortiser.
One of the largest items is a four-sided planer from French woodworking tool manufacturer Guilliet, complete with safety hood and a digital setting enabling extra-fine adjustment.
Other equipment includes a ‘Corian/Hanex thermoforming machine’ for heating plastic sheets to a pliable temperature prior to forming and shaping. With a pneumatic top plate and delivery tray, the machine has five thermostatically controlled fan heating elements that can control the temperature to above or below just 0.5°C.
An industrial heater, diesel-fired steam cleaner and upholstery press are also available, along with a large number of items which include a 24ins pneumatic crosscut saw, tube bender, spindle moulders and a number of sanders varying in size and capability.
Other furniture manufacturing essentials are also going under the online hammer, with rolls of fire-retardant fabric, vinyl and faux leather, as well as sofa feet and locking swivel casters.
All items, once sold, can be collected from the site in Colchester, Essex.
The closing date for bids is January 22nd and, just when it couldn’t get any better, there is no VAT payable on the hammer price!
