Storage Fees
Storage charges apply to any item not collected within seven days of auction close.
Charges are calculated per calendar day (or part thereof) from the day after the collection deadline expires, and are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
- All items must be collected within the time stated on the auction, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Auctioneer.
- Storage charges will apply to any items not collected within this timeframe:
- £25 + VAT per day, per item for standard assets (small handheld items may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on quantity and value)
- £100 + VAT per day, per item for assets (including, but not limited to, vehicles (cars, vans, motorcycles)
- £150 + VAT per day, per item for assets (including, but not limited to, plant, machinery & large items)
- £200 + VAT per day, per item for assets (including, but not limited to, HGV’s & larger vehicles
- These charges will accrue daily and must be settled in full prior to collection.
Please note: Storage charges may not be applicable in certain circumstances, including but not limited to site closures, time-sensitive clearances, or where items are deemed to have no residual value and are subject to disposal. In such cases, the Auctioneer reserves the right to arrange disposal without further notice following the collection deadline.
BPI reserves the right to re-auction or dispose of items left uncollected for an extended period.
