BPI runs timed online auctions of used forklift trucks, telehandlers and access equipment across the UK, including counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pallet stackers, scissor lifts and boom lifts from brands such as Hyster, Linde, Toyota, Jungheinrich, Genie and more. Much of our stock comes direct from finance companies, national hire fleets and dealers, with many lots released when hire companies renew their fleets. Auctions run regularly and are open bidders in the UK and overseas.
Auctions include items such as:
Top brands including Genie, JLG, Youngman Boss, Niftylift, Teupen, and Bison.
Whether you need a single forklift for your warehouse, a scissor lift for site work or a complete access solution, you’ll find well-maintained equipment at a fraction of the price of buying new. Many lots can be viewed by appointment, so you can check condition, hours and service history before you bid.
New forklifts and access equipment can be a significant investment, often with long lead times. Buying at auction gives you access to a wide choice of used equipment at a fraction of the price of buying new. Many lots come from national hire fleets and dealers, so equipment has often been regularly serviced and well maintained.
Our auctions regularly include counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks, pallet stackers, telehandlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts and scaffolding equipment. You’ll also find attachments, chargers and batteries. Individual lots and complete fleets are listed throughout the year.

Yes. Equipment is often located at the seller’s premises, so viewings are arranged by appointment. Details are provided in each auction listing, and our team is happy to help organise a viewing on your behalf.
Each lot is catalogued with photographs and a description, including details such as age, hours and service history where available. Equipment is sold as seen, so we strongly recommend viewing before you bid or arranging for someone to inspect it on your behalf.
Where available, details of the most recent thorough examination will be included in the lot description. Lifting equipment used at work must have a valid thorough examination under LOLER, so we recommend having any machine examined before putting it into use.
This varies from lot to lot. The lot description will confirm whether a battery and charger are included, so please check before placing a bid.
A buyer’s premium is added to the winning bid, typically ranging from 5% to 20% plus VAT. Full fee details are shown on each auction before you bid. You can also use our Fee Calculator to work out the total cost of a lot before you bid.
You’ll receive an email confirming your purchase along with an invoice. Once payment has been received, you can confirm your collection arrangements.
Collection details are included in each auction listing. For forklifts and larger access equipment, we can refer you to trusted haulage partners for a quote, or the seller may be able to arrange transport after the sale.
Yes, we welcome bidders from overseas. Buyers are responsible for arranging export, transport and any import duties. Visit our Global shipping for international buyers page for more information.
