Item 2 – EPD Line
Complete industrial Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) coating facility previously utilised for high-volume corrosion-resistant coating applications within the commercial, industrial, automotive and rail sectors.
The installation is understood to comprise:
- Multi-stage chemical pre-treatment system
- Electrophoretic deposition (E-Coat) tank
- Ultrafiltration and rinse systems
- Dry-off and curing ovens
- Overhead conveyor handling system
- Rectifiers and electrical control equipment
- Process pumps, filtration and ancillary equipment
- Associated pipework and support infrastructure
- Effluent treatment and environmental control equipment (subject to confirmation)
EPD coating technology provides a highly uniform and corrosion-resistant coating, particularly suited to complex fabricated and engineered components. The process is widely utilised throughout automotive, rail and industrial manufacturing environments.
