A specialist company in manufacturing and installing innovative external wall insulation (EWI) systems, known for producing high-performing non-combustible engineered façade panels, recently relocated its operations. As part of this move, the business engaged BPI to manage the sale of surplus machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring the process was handled efficiently and aligned with their relocation timeline.
The auction featured over 100 lots encompassing a wide variety of items essential to both manufacturing and site operations. Highlights included a 2008 WJS NC 3015 ED waterjet cutting machine, a large steel wash bay with bottom draining, vacuum cleaners, roller conveyors, power tools, industrial compressors, welding equipment, and label printers.
BPI’s experienced team meticulously catalogued the assets, ensuring clear descriptions and high-quality imagery to attract a broad range of buyers. The no-reserve auction approach encouraged competitive bidding and facilitated a swift, transparent sale process aligned with the client’s relocation timeline.
Reflecting on the process, a company representative said:
“BPI made the whole process of relocating our factory so much easier. They managed the sale of our surplus equipment efficiently, with clear communication throughout. We were very happy with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend their services.”
Nathan Burnham, Associate Director at BPI, said:
“This project required detailed coordination due to the broad scope and technical nature of the assets involved. We worked closely with the client to deliver a comprehensive disposal solution that maximised value and supported a smooth transition during their relocation. The response from bidders was excellent, reflecting the quality and variety of equipment on offer.”
