BPI Asset Advisory has been instructed by the proposed Liquidators of Calysta UK Limited to offer for sale the entire contents of its research and development laboratory. The equipment, located in Redcar, was utilised in the production of sustainable, food- and feed-grade protein and represents a rare opportunity for businesses, researchers and laboratories operating in the fields of fermentation and cellular agriculture.
Calysta UK Limited was a subsidiary of Calysta Inc., a global leader in sustainable protein technology. Founded in 2012, Calysta developed pioneering fermentation processes that convert carbon and energy into nutritious, non-GMO protein ingredients suitable for aquaculture, livestock feed, and pet food applications. Its FeedKind® range of products has been developed in partnership with some of the world’s largest feed and nutrition companies.
