RICS-regulated asset valuers, BPI Asset Advisory, have been instructed to market the business and assets of Ryebeck Trading Co Limited, trading as Yorkshire Distilling Co. This follows the appointment of Kelly Burton and Joseph Fox of FRP Advisory as Joint Administrators.
Based across two sites in East Yorkshire, Yorkshire Distilling Co. was a purpose-built contract distillery combining tradition with innovation, capable of serving clients of all sizes across the spirits industry. Offering grain-to-glass distillation, cask storage and recipe development, the distillery was positioned as a full-service partner in spirit production. Their facility had the flexibility to produce whisky, gin, rum, flavoured vodkas, Baijiu, and more.
Whilst efforts were made to save the business, global economic headwinds, disruption to export markets, and increased operating costs have led to the decision to enter administration and pursue a piecemeal disposal of company assets.
BPI Asset Advisory has now launched an online auction of the company’s machinery and equipment via BPI, with bidding closing from Friday 5th September 2025. A viewing day is scheduled for Thursday 4th September.
Key assets include:
• 3 x 5,000 Litre Kothe Stills
• 1 x 400 Litre Kothe Still
• 1 x Hagyo 2,000 Litre Still
• Meura Mash Filter
• 100HL Conversion Vessel
• Beonix Hot and Cold Liquor Vessels
• 10 x 6PD 15,000 Litre Conical Vessels

BPI Asset Advisory Director, Luke Hartshorn, commented:
“Yorkshire Distilling Co. commissioned in 2024, was built with scale, quality and versatility in mind. This auction offers a unique opportunity for buyers across the drinks and process manufacturing sectors to acquire premium, commercial-grade equipment. The equipment’s age and specification will appeal to both established operators and those looking to scale.”
Alongside the distillery equipment, the auction includes a range of laboratory and support assets — providing options for businesses of all sizes.
