A fond farewell to Preston, but exciting times ahead …
As we count down to the official opening of our extensive new facility at Normanton, we’re bidding a fond farewell to our Preston site.
We have enjoyed six successful years in the town and have been proud to be part of the community, but as the business develops, we found we had simply outgrown the premises.
The newly developed site near Wakefield will enable us to host live auctions and provide ample storage facilities, which in turn allows us to increase turnover.
We have made many important contacts in Preston and developed some great relationships, but the time is right to consolidate our operations at one extensive site.
Fortunately, there won’t be too many goodbyes to say as some of our loyal Lancashire workforces will be transferring with us to our new Normanton headquarters.
As a company, we are working hard towards the official site opening, which takes place on January 25, 2018. 26,500 sq. ft. the development will incorporate state-of-the-art offices, a showroom and meeting rooms, as well as a purpose-built auction house that will enable us to host on-site live sales which will take place at the same time as selected online auctions, meaning buyers will have the choice of bidding in person or through our website.
Our new facility is in a new facility in a prime location, close to the M62/M1/A1, allowing BPI to continue to offer a first-class service to all our customers.
So, while we are sad to be leaving Preston, it’s an extremely exciting time for BPI Auctions as we look ahead to a new era.
